Omari is a young professional footballer for Premier League club Chelsea and he also represents the Jamaica national team.  Omari was a special guest at our October 2022 Black History Month event, is our newest Patron and we are very excited to be working alongside him and his support team.

FORMER FOOTBALLER

Eddie is a professional football coach and manager; part of the management team that led Chelsea FC to Champions League glory in Munich, 2012. During Eddie’s playing days, he scored the second goal to clinch a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the 1997 FA Cup Final  to seal a 2–0 win over Middlesbrough and he also won the Cup Winners’ Cup and League Cup with Chelsea FC the following year.

COMEDIAN

Omid is a comedian, actor and social activist, notable for his stand-up comedy and appearance in Hollywood blockbuster films such as The Mummy, Gladiator and Mean Machine. Michael Leven at Huffington Post described his comedy as “So hysterically funny and at the same time so poignant and powerful that calling it stand-up barely does it justice”.

Pat is a former professional footballer and football club Chief Executive, and more recently football writer, broadcaster and author. In his younger student days Pat was an active anti-discrimination campaigner and during his time with Chelsea, was notably outspoken in his public support for Paul and against those targeting racist abuse at him during matches.

DJ & PRESENTER

Trevor is a globally recognised broadcaster and DJ, notable as a pioneer of the breakout black music genres in the 1990s. In 2002 Trevor was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contribution to the Millennium Volunteers programme; an initiative that encouraged young people to work for the good of their community.
