Youth Work – Football

The Paul Canoville Foundation is proud to be working with the St Matthews Project from Lambeth. Around 200 young players from the Brixton and Tulse Hill areas are involvedwith their youth football sides and our work includes Paul being a Patron of the club, and features some coaching, group mentoring, school talks and links with the Chelsea Academy where several of the SMP players have previously been signed.

Our relationship with the Chelsea Academy sees Paul giving talks to the various age groups from time to time. We are in the process of further developing the relationship.

Paul is also an ambassador for KickOff@3 which is a collaborative initiative set up by Michael Wallace (a serving police officer) and Ashley Levien to engage young people, using sport, music and other imaginative ideas to spread awareness.

Music Against Racism

Music Against Racism is a collective of empowered organisations and brands within the music industry. They are creating a movement to unite the United Kingdom through music.

Music Against Racism is forging collaborative partnerships with sporting bodies, the arts and education sectors. Its mission statement is to “educate young people about the racism virus and how it spreads” – to help build up communities immune systems.

Paul is a football ambassador for Music Against Racism and The Paul Canoville Foundation will be part of the education programme.
